--------------
 1. Overview
--------------
Nave Player is a multimedia player which enables video and audio
playback at variable speeds with natural sounding audio. Speeding up
and down the playback rate causes changes in pitch. Using the
elastic algorithm of audio signal developed by S.E.E.R.A brings the
"out of tune" sound back to the original sound in real time. We have
been creating the software that allows the user to listen to spoken
words with fast or slow playback speed. The Nave Player is an
existing real-time player which plays music with a wide frequency
range and specializes in high-quality sound.

We introduced a part of the Multi Effect Interactive Movie Interface
(MEIMI) technology for playing back moving images. Based on the MEIMI
studies, we have been constructing and reconsidering GUI focusing on
moving images in substitution for the Microsoft Media Player.
